Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a Senior Healthcare Compliance Officer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that Hunter Gatherer conducts business in full compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards within the healthcare sector. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead candidates through a comprehensive compliance process, including meeting them in the office and offsite to gather, validate, and review documentation.
  • Maintain a database of candidates, ensuring compliance to high standards and timely supply to the business.
  • Assist in conducting audits to assess the level, significance, and scope of risk. Experience with frameworks such as Health Trust Europe, Workforce Alliance, HSNI, Scotland is desirable.
  • Ensure all services regulated by bodies such as the CQC, Health & Safety, and GDPR meet appropriate standards and comply with relevant laws and guidelines.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for compliance queries and provide guidance and expertise to candidates.
  • Complete and verify background checks, such as references, qualifications, and criminal records.
    Maintain KPIs aligned with business objectives and strive for continuous improvement. Champion the company values and help develop the more junior members of the team.
  • Handle general administration duties including email management, filing, and scanning. Organise and book training courses, both online and practical, for candidates.

Education & Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in compliance within the healthcare industry.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Sharepoint).
  • Strong teamwork, administrative, organisation and communication skills are essential.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a target-driven environment.
  • Proven success in hitting regular targets and ability to evidence these achievements.
