Who are we and what is the role?

Hunter Gatherer AHP is a healthcare recruitment company based in the heart of London. With 47 current employees, we are set to double in size over the next 12 months, with international expansion also in our sights. With our growth plans, we are currently looking to hire our newest wave of our future leaders! We work with companies across the UK in the healthcare sector, helping them provide a world class service through finding and hiring the right people for the job.

The type of healthcare professionals we recruit are Pharmacists, Psychologists, Physiotherapists, CBT Therapists, Mental Health & Community Nurses, Occupational Therapists, all of which are thriving sectors, even more so after the challenges of 2020.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) as well as attention to detail;
  • The ability to work well under pressure and hit deadlines;
  • Demonstrate the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment;
  • Good IT Skills (Microsoft Office and Outlook)
  • A thirst for learning and development

The role:

  • Responsible for pre and post-employment checking process, obtaining all relevant checks in a timely manner
  • Assisting the compliance team with paperwork and data collection
  • Responsible for working with each candidate during the compliance process
  • Conduct audits on a regular basis, e.g. DBS, professional registration, mandatory training and Right to Work
  • Keeping databases up to date
  • Monitor daily reports showing any compliance documentation that are due to expire.
  • Work closely with the sales team to make sure agreed timeframes are adhered to
  • Following a structured training / development programme to make you a Compliance expert.
  • You will also be required to work closely with external organisations, candidates and internal consultants to ensure all parties involved are aware of any outstanding compliance issues.
